Remove the M36T2 immobiliser fitted to many Lotus vehicles with the factory fitted Meta M99T2/M36T2 alarm/immobiliser systems using a dedicated bypass plug. This plug bypasses the M36T2 immobiliser unit allowing the car to to be driven without any problems. The alarm can still be used seperately or can be unplugged if no longer wanted, removing the alarm will not affect the running of the car as long as the bypass plug is fitted. Simply locate the 12 way immobiliser connector, unplug the connectors & insert the bypass plug. Simple plug & play swap over, easy to follow instructions supplied. If the engine fails to start the fault will be with the car. Will also bypass the Cobra immobiliser system.
This bypass plug is for factory fitted M99T2/M36T2 alarms fitted to Lotus cars only, it will not fit any other make of vehicle
Suitable for all models from the early S1 up to the last of the S2 Elise and Exige's factory fitted alarm system, also includes the 340R 211 (up to 2009/2010) Will not fit the Vauxhall VX220 or Opel Speedster as the Meta M36T2 was not fitted, Opel/Vauxhall used the same system as used by all their other vehicles (Chipped key immobiliser)
