The M99T2 was fitted to VX220's up till April 2002, after which the Cobra 8581 was fitted, we are not Cobra dealers & as such are unable to help with any technical advice or support should this system be fitted.

Plug & Play Replacement For The M99T2
With Optional Remote Boot Release
Directly replaces the M99T2 fitted to the VX220, Simple Plug & play fitment. Meta HPA3.5 replacement alarm system for the M99T2. Simple replacement of faulty or out of sync M99T2 alarm ECU's. Simply locate the alarm control box hidden under the dash cover on the near side of the vehicle, unplug the old unit & plug in this replacement. Will function with the existing ultra sonic sensors or if fitted the microwave sensor & siren (assuming siren is working, siren model no. SC1T2 or M04 or M05).
The alarm is supplied with two HPA type fobs, as supplied the second button is coded for the panic function, if required we can program it for remote boot release (if not already present the vehicle may also need the electric boot release kit to be fitted - more info). If the boot release facility is required please choose in the drop down box below, if this option is required at a later date the alarm will need to be sent back to us for re-programming which will cost £25 inclusive of return delivery. Please note some additional wiring will be required to function with the vehicle's boot release system, supplied with wiring instructions & relay when option chosen.
