Plug & play replacement kit for the Meta M351a only (Not M355, M357 or M357TV2). Replaces faulty alarms or alarms which do not have the code card. This unit comes with a custom made plug & play adapter loom, in most cases the replacement will be up and working within minutes. Simply remove the cable covers from the old alarm & swap over the plug into the replacement adapter socket, job done. Complete with easy to follow instructions.
The M351a is no longer being manufactured, we have developed & plug & play kit based on the Defcom3.1b alarm system. This has all the same functions of the original alarm but uses only on immobiliser circuit, as such this is not an approved device, however it will still behave and act as the original unit. The kit includes alarm module, two HPA TX fobs, code card spare LED & fittings. Will function with existing seat sensor (if fitted)

Plug and Play Defcom3.1b alarm kit for the M357 alarm system. Simple plug & play fitment or swap over making fitting a breeze. Simply unplug the old M357 & plug in this unit & away you go.
This kit is supplied with the latest version of the Defcom alarm series, the Defcom3.1b (Not Defcom3), this unit encompasses Bluetooth technology allowing the use of a ID Tag remote fob, this allows the alarm to automatically arm & dis-arm without having to use the fob, as long as the ID Tag is within 10 metres of the alarm unit. This unit functions in exactly the same way as the earlier DefcomT & Defcom3 models when used without the ID Tag remote fob. Choose above to upgrade one of the standard fobs to the ID tag unit.
ID Tag Option:
If choosing the ID Tag the 'Auto Arm' option above can also be added & will function seamlessly with the ID Tag (Auto-Arm option can also be added if using the standard fobs, but the alarm will need to disarmed every time you want to move or use the bike - can be put into service mode so the alarm will not interfere when servicing the vehicle), the alarm will automatically disarm when the Tag is within 10 metres of the alarm unit. Please note if the alarm is armed by pressing either the standard fob or ID tag button it will also need to be disarmed using the button, it will not automatically disarm even when using the ID Tag. When using the Tag button there is usually a 3 secound delay, this is normal, when using the Tag normally there will be no such delay, there is no delay when using the standard fobs.
The ID tag & any programmable options can only be added when ordering a new Defcom3.1b, if required at a later date the alarm unit complete with all fobs will need to be returned to us for re-programming, extra charges will be incured.

Please note the Defcom3.1b is not Thatcham 1 approved, this replacment kit is specified as a standard battery backed up alarm system which can function in the similar manor to the oriuginal S3 (Auto alarm arming is turned off)
